An integral part of this organization is the work we do on the ground in community. All committees are volunteer based and meet on a monthly basis.
- Political and Social Action Committee: Organizes public actions to address specific political, economic and/or social issues of concern to V.I.D.A and the community at large.
- Chaired By Vice Presidents: District Leader Kenesha Trayham-Cooper and Marlon Rice
- Membership Committee: Targets and recruits new members and develops an outreach plan to expand the membership.
- Chaired by Vice Presidents: Melissa Thomas and Ineisha Williford
- Communications Committee: Develops and manages traditional and conventional branding and messaging.
- Chaired by Vice President: Sebastian Bush
- Legal Committee: Manages the judicial screening process, election peitions, manages informational events, and provides information and guidance on electoral matters.
- Chaired by Vice President: Sheridan Jack-Browne
- Youth Development Committee: Creates educational, career and volunteer opportunities for youth (10-14) to become civically engaged.
